Book BuyBack FAQ's
We are happy to consider books from any genre! We are always especially interested in expanding our science fiction and horror sections, and we are also actively looking for books featuring LGBTQ+ stories, authors, and themes.
We accept a wide variety of books, but we are not able to accept every title. Offers are based on the condition and resale value of each book, and books in poor condition may receive a lower offer or may not be accepted for buyback.
The most common reasons we are unable to accept a book are odors, water damage, mold, excessive writing or highlighting, and other significant damage. We also do not sell advance reader copies (ARCs) or library books. However, we are happy to accept these books as donations when possible and find a way for them to be given away rather than resold.
Every offer is determined individually. Offers are based on a percentage of the price we expect to sell the book for at All In Books. That retail value can vary based on several factors, including demand, popularity, condition, publication date, edition, and format.
No problem! We will hold your books for seven days from the date of the offer so you have time to pick them up.
Absolutely!
At this time, we offer payment in cash or All In Books store credit. We are unable to send buyback payments through Cash App, Venmo, or other digital payment services.
There is no set limit on the number of books you can bring. However, larger collections may take additional time to evaluate and may not be eligible for same-day offers. We appreciate your patience while we carefully review your books.
At this time, we are only able to evaluate books that are brought into the store during business hours. We are unable to offer in-home evaluations.
Because the condition, edition, and overall marketability of each book factor into our offers, we need to see the books in person before we can make an offer. Books must be brought to the store during business hours for evaluation.
